Parents Night Out!
Sunday night Grandma Connie came to stay with the kids and we escaped! Ryan had NEVER been in a casino so that had to be our first stop. Luckily the bug never bit and we were able to head across the street to Zeldas for some billiards and dancin' while we still had some cash!
Church on Sunday!
Sunday was spent with family. Rachel's cousin Heather who lives in Wasilla, AK. was visiting with her husband Ryan and new daughter Faith. Her other cousin Dianne was also visiting with her husband Walter. Uncle George and Aunt Naomi were thrilled to fill the pews lots of family!

Splish Splash
Sunday was spent at Nana & Papa's house in sunny Perris. The girls sported their new swimsuits for the first time. As you can see in the pictures Emmy is in training for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition! Anndy enjoyed her first time in the pool (once she got used to the chilly water).
Johns Pizza
Saturday night we met Aunt Pamela (visiting from Alaska) and were treated to Johns Incredible Pizza Co.! Anndy had her first ride on a carousel and Aunt Pamela and Emmy rode everything in sight! What a BLAST!
Playdate
Friday morning we met our friends Melanie and Zachary to go visit our other friend "Auntie Darlene" at her work. She works at Me and My Big Ideas, the scrapbook supply manufacturer. They were having a warehouse sale! While the kids played Mom and Melanie SHOPPED! What a way to spend the morning!

Quik Nik part 2

After the game we all stopped at a park near the stadium to eat our dessert GG made. Strawberry shortcake or just plain shortcake for Emmy (no strawberrys, no whip- go figure?)! GG made a great meal for us and it was FABULOUS, lots of laughs and memories made on Anndylans 1st Mothers Day!

What a great day at the ballpark! Angels beat Kansas City 4-3 and fun was had by all!
Mothers day "Quick Nic"

Mothers Day was spectacular! Before the Angel game we stopped to have lunch at a local park and Emily coined the phrease "Quik Nik". Since we didnt have time to stay and play she said it wasnt really a picnic!
Bunco Fun!
Emily girls scout council had a mother / daughter event Friday night. Since grandma Connie was in town she tagged along with us and they had a great time together!
